Software practitioner

There are written and recorded assignments, and scheduled telephone calls with the Supervisor. An oral exam at the end of EPII helps to prepare the intern for their second supervised practicum. When all the requirements are complete the Intern will be given approval to take a national standardized Final Exam. Advanced educational materials, books and study guides are sent to the student when they have been accepted into the program.

It is recommended that this process begin as soon as possible to allow the student the time needed to prepare for EPI. The facility has a full kitchen for cooking and storing perishable and nonperishable items. Will the Fellow and the project benefit from engagement with an academic research community? Does the Fellow actively participate in networks and partnerships that will support the success of the project?

Quality of project proposal Is the project plan thoughtful and well-articulated? Have potential risks and challenges received adequate consideration?

Are goals, timelines, and deliverables realistic? Has the applicant identified partnerships and resources that will catalyze the project? This week involves presentations by fellows on their project progress, and opportunities to meet other communities at Stanford. Please note that your initiative cannot involve a partisan political campaign or legislative lobbying efforts.
