Select Custom Dictionaries. All dictionaries are listed here, with the default dictionary at the top. Add words to the default custom dictionary while checking spelling. Select New. This word of mine is definitely added somewhere, since Word is suddenly ignoring it in my subtitle files, although it's a word that was always flagged in the past.
